The Kayenta Animal Care Center has pets looking for adoptive homes. If you’re thinking about adding a pet to your family, the team is here to help you find a good match.

How adoption works

Step 1: Reach out or visit
Contact the shelter to learn about available pets.

Step 2: Meet the pet
Spend time getting to know the pet and ask questions.

Step 3: Find the right fit
Staff will help make sure it’s a good match for your home and lifestyle.

Step 4: Complete adoption
Adoptions are simple and designed to make the process easy.

What’s included

  • No adoption fee

  • Vaccinations

  • Deworming

  • Flea and tick treatment

 

If needed, staff can also help schedule a free spay/neuter and microchip appointment.

Adopting helps give a pet a second chance and opens space for another animal in need.
