The Navajo Nation Veterinary Program (NNVP) offers essential pet health services directly to the Navajo people at three different locations.

The Navajo Nation Department of Agriculture announced that the Navajo Nation Veterinary Livestock Program Clinic is being fully renovated and anticipates a reopening of services no later than August 2023. Following last summer’s monsoon, the Tsé Bonito, New Mexico, clinic sustained significant flood damage and was condemned. Without a building, vet staff continued their work through outreach programs and demonstrations. Upon its reopening, NNVLPC will transition to primarily offer large animal services. Nonetheless, vet staff will continue administering non-medical small animal services such as vaccinations.
