Volunteer Opportunities
We want to help pets on the Navajo Nation, and you can too!
If you love pets and have time to give, we have volunteer opportunities that range from just a few hours, to hands on help with many local animal organizations, or you can even help from your home.
We've put together the following list to help you get started.
1. Follow our Facebook page (Navajo Nation Pets) for current volunteer needs from various groups that are a part of our Community Helpers.
2. Go to the Community Helpers page and check out all of the incredible organizations doing work in the community. Sign up to volunteer for a specific group.
3. Getting your pet spayed or neutered? Offer to volunteer for the day while you're there. This will allow you to experience a volunteer shift, talk with staff and other volunteers, learn about more ways to help, and you are helping to bring these important services to the community.
